Auction reset time- Auction reset time varies from auction to auction. You can refer to the clock to see the auction reset time for any particular auction. When the auction timer reaches less than as shown in clock, with each bid, the auction time resets to multiple of time shown in clock. For e.g. assume the auction reset time (as shown in clock) is 40 seconds. When the auction timer reaches less than 40 seconds, say 00:00:35, with one bid the auction time will be reset to 00:00:40. However in case say auction current time is 00:00:35 and two bids are received simultaneously, the timer will become 00:01:20 as explained below:
00:00:35 + 05 seconds + 40 seconds = 00:01:20
Current time To reset to 40 second 2nd bid Final time
This is only valid in case of bids which are placed simultaneously. However where there is difference of even 1 (one) second, it will be treated as two single bids separately and timer will reset as explained above in first case. .
-
Auction information- It will provide information about auction. This information may be different for different auctions. Auction information provide following info:
Price increase- The price increase for every auction is fixed and shown here. With each bid, the auction price will increase by amount equal to as shown in auction informartion.
Number of credits required- For some auctions, one bid require one credit whereas other auction may require more than one credit for each bid.
Auction end time- Every auction starts with 24 or 48 hour counter decreasing. However every auction has a time limit (vary from 7 or 14 days or more). When the auction time becomes less than reset time (time shown in clock on left side of countdown timer), the time of the auctions resets with each bid. So for popular auctions, bidders may keep bidding and thus time will keep resetting. So for these auctions, if the auction remains alive for 7 days (or more), then auction will end when the auction’s end time has reached. So for auction when it reaches the end time, auction will be ended by the system, though the timer value may not be not zero and highest bidder at that time will be winner of the auction.
