How do I bid on Bolibol?

Bidding on Bolibol is straightforward. Just follow these four simple steps:

1. Register for free
2. Charge up your account with credits
3. Pick an auction
4. Bid and win!

Register for free

If you want to bid online, you´ll first need to register. Registration is free and easy. In order to confirm your won auctions, you will need to confirm your email address by clicking on the link in the confirmation email sent to your account.

Once you´re confirmed: Congratulations - you´ve registered successfully with Bolibol.

Charge up your account with Credits

Each credit costs just Rs 2.00, available in “Credit packs” of 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000 and 10000. Pick the size of credit pack you want and make the payment to Bolibol account as per the instructions provided. As the credits are added to your account, a confirmation email will be sent. You can also check your account to see if the credits are being added.

You'll always find a selection of our most exciting auctions on the homepage, or you can browse through the categories to find just what you're looking for.

Bid and win!

Here we go - you´re now ready to take part in your first Bolibol auction. Just click on the "Bid" button! You are on your way to win exciting products, don’t let that Mobile phone slip from your hand.

You can buy credits by depositing the money to Bolibol bank account as per the instructions provided on the site. Be a smart bidder, user Net banking to refuel your account fast.

Soon Bolibol will include the feature to accept payment through credits cards and Netbanking through the website. As the feature is added to the website, we will inform you so you can take the best out of it.

To help you understand the auction detail screen, we have described the different items, please take a look .

Every auction has a guide price as set by Bolibol.You can view the guide price by mouse over on the clock on auction detail screen as shown below:

When an auction price reaches the guide price, the timer will be decreased to 15 minutes (no matter what the timer value was before the guide price met). Auction will be marked to show that it has reached in “Final countdown”. When the auction is in final countdown, bids from all the users are accepted in normal manner.

You can win 10 auctions in a calendar month. You can keep track of how many auctions you have already won in a calendar month from the top bar from your logged in screen view as shown below:

As other users will bid on the auctions which are just become Live on Bolibol, auction price will increase. If the auction price meets the guide price defined for the product, the auction time will be reduced to 15 minutes (no matter what the timer value was before the guide price met) and keep going down. As the timer keep decreasing, active bidders who are bidding on the product, will have chances of winning of the auction. So if you leave the auction waiting to decrease the time to last few minutes, you might miss on your chances to winning the auction at all as the auctions can end any time.

We created “My Bolibol” for registered users so that you can keep track of all the auctions you’ve bid on that are still running, as well as those you’ve asked to watch.

Simply click on 'My Bolibol and select 'My Auctions' for all auctions that you have placed a bid on, or 'My Watched Auctions' for auctions that you want to watch.

You can see how many bids you have placed for a auction from your full bid history under Bid Account ('My Bolibol' -> 'Won auctions'  for Won auction and 'My Bolibol' -> 'Ended auction' for auction you bid on what couldn't win) and click on 'View bid history'.

To see who's bidding on an auction, just look under 'Bid History' to see a list of the most recent bidders on that auction.

When a bid is placed, it will always be the highest bid, but might get out bid very quickly. This can happen if there are many bidders also bidding on the same auction. You might not see this simply because other bids have been placed with a few seconds of each other - sometimes even within the same second.

You can always see how much you've spent in a single auction by looking at the 'Savings' section just below the 'Bid' button on the auction detail page.
