What types of auctions are there?

Fixed Price Auction

If you win a Fixed Price Auction, you only pay the price indicated in the heading of the auction (plus delivery and handling costs as mentioned on auction detail screen), regardless of the bid price as it reaches to determine the winning bidder.

100% FREE

Where an auction is marked “100% FREEf”, the winning bidder does not have to pay the final price. That’s right: the price is zero! You just need to pay the delivery and handling charges (as mentioned on auction detail screen).

Paisa Auction

In a Paisa auction, with each bid, the auction price rises by just one paisa only. Winning bidder only need to pay for the final bid price, delivery charge and handling costs (as mentioned on auction detail screen) and any other tax(es) as applicable. 

Regular Auction

In a regular auction, the winning bidder will need to pay the final price, delivery and handling costs (as mentioned on auction detail screen).

How I will figure which auction is of what type?

For every auction, the type of auction is mentioned in the title of the auction. So you can refer to the title of the auction to determine the type of auction.

Firstly, congratulations - well done on winning the auction!

Informing about your win

Once the auction has ended, you’ll be informed through email as well as auction will be shown under “Won auction” from “My Bolibol”. You can also pay for the WON auction by clicking on the "Pay Now" button for the corresponding auction.

Paying for the item you won

Bolibol provides online payment facility for paying for your won product. Bolibol provides option of paying by Netbanking, ITZ cash card and mobile payments by PayMate. Netbanking includes over 25 banks including all the major banks such ICICI Bank, HDFC, AXIS Bank, SBI, PNB and many more.

The online payment is integrated with the website, so the whole process is handled automatically and on succsseful payment, you account will be updated for the payment made. Bolibol will also get notification for the payment received and will ship your product as early as possible.

How can I watch an auction?

You can add the auction to your watchlist (you need to be logged in to your account to use this feature). You can review the watched auction from your list from your “My Bollibol” account.

When does an auction end?

An auction ends once the countdown reaches zero. An auction can also end when the date and time shown under "Auction will end before" is reached.

What's the difference between the auction end price and the worth up to price?

Auction end price

The auction end price is the price at which the auction ended. Only the winner of the auction can buy the item at that price. Sometimes there are special offers available on an auction such as such as "100% off", " Fixed price", etc. - again, these only apply to the winner of the auction.

Worth up to price

The worth up to price is provided as an indication of the price for which this product could be bought elsewhere.
